Sct. Hans fire at Sortedam søen

The problem becomes obvious that when you have a wide camera and only a maximum zoom of 60mm, then you have to get close to the subject. If that subject =fire is on the middle of a lake, well, then it becomes small. There is a fire in the middle of the picture below.


But it is possible to make nice broad views of the lake, even though the girlfriend complained a bit about the colours. The sky was not quite so blue as it ended up as showing in the picture.


But I like it this way. The last beams of sunlight are visible at the horizon on top of houses from the right.

Wide

Did not have much time to play around with the new camera, Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, this weekend, but it can definitely make wide shots for a compact digital camera.


Sortedamssøen in Copenhagen, it can nearly get all of the lake in one picture.
